Grooving on Hot Cherry (intermediate-advanced technical downhill)

Post  Michele S on Wed Jul 25, 2012 10:13 am

Now that we've got our groove back on Green Ribbon with only a little mishap due to some wasps (and DG'z with giant sticks!) we're ready to try Hot Cherry.

Hot Cherry is technically harder than Green Ribbon. Very steep, tons of fun! No pressure, ride what you can, walk what you can't. It's a grunt climb up that we will mostly do on single track, bring lots of water to stay hydrated in this heat(?).

Leg armour is highly recommended, elbows are also recommended. Let's groove!

Meet in the Hartland parking lot ready to ride at 6:00. Ride should last between 1.5 and 2 hours depending on how fast we go.

Sadly, I won't be making it out tonight. I re-triggered my shoulder issue at Mt. Washington on Saturday so need to take it easy for a few days ... or at least until I find a shoulder brace.
