Post  LeighS on Fri Sep 28, 2012 9:26 pm

WHEN: Sunday October 21st. Number plate and chip pick up 9-10am. Racing starts at 11am. Beginners race first, then Intermediate and finally Expert.

COST: There is a $20 race entry fee for all racers. If you do not have a current Cycling BC race licence you will need to buy a one day licence for $10.

REGISTRATION: Online pre-registration is mandatory. Online Registration at: www.procityracing.com. Registration closes Friday October 19th at midnight.

ABOUT THE COURSE: The course is the same as the past 5 years, with some small improvements thanks to the SIMBS Trail crew. Trails include Jelly Roll, Lumpy pants, up the fire road to Who’s yer Daddy, Night Shift, down the fire road to Short Cut and into the back of the TTA.

WHAT TO EXPECT: 90% singletrack and 90% descending but don’t expect to win on a downhill bike. This course is ideal for a 6″ all-mountain bike. Times will range from 9-15+ minutes. There are no shuttles! You need to get yourself to the top of the course. The climb will range from 20-30 minutes. Course starts at the top of Jelly Roll.

New this year is electronic chip timing performed by Race Day Timing. This will ensure accurate and fast timing results. To make this happen there is mandatory online registration.
